Abstract

This is a transcript of the talk given by Martin Creed at the conference Making Space: Psychoanalysis and Artistic Process (UCL, 25th February 2012). Creed talks about, and effectively demonstrates, his artistic practice of waiting to see what will emerge from his mind. The experience of listening to the talk is conveyed by including the gaps, ums and ahs, and audible reactions from the audience in the transcript.
